How to Inspire Your Clients to Action and Help Them Achieve Financial Freedom with George Kinder
Share this
“Model integrity, deliver freedom.”
This is the Life Planning motto. These are also the words by which the father of the Life Planning movement himself, George Kinder, tries to live.
For the past 30 years, Kinder has revolutionized the financial advice industry in his pursuit of one very ambitious mission: to “life plan civilization.”
At one time, Kinder aspired to be an artist and a poet. Today, while he is neither of those things by trade, he is undeniably inspirational, having trained over 3,000 professionals in 30 countries in financial Life Planning.
Kinder credits this impressive journey to his passion for “doing something different,” which largely shaped his early years as a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™. At a time when the financial planning profession was focused more on the success of the advisor than the client, Kinder was breaking the mold as he strived to deliver real freedom to his clients.
In 2003, he founded the Kinder Institute of Life Planning and began training other advisors in the deep listening and inspirational skills that deliver clients into their dreams of freedom. He is now applying that same process with groups to inspire action toward delivering a new vision for civilization within a generation.
Kinder will expand upon this vision at XYPN LIVE 2020 in Denver, where he’ll deliver his keynote presentation Life Planning, Mindfulness, and a Golden Civilization. Through a mix of lecture and experiential exercises, Kinder will describe how Life Planning delivers an exhilarating and meaningful client experience.
He’ll discuss Life Planning’s five-phase EVOKE® process, which utilizes deep listening and communication skills to uncover clients’ dreams of freedom—and then deliver them. Kinder will also explore the themes of his latest book, A Golden Civilization and the Map of Mindfulness; this exploration will include new approaches to economics and democracy and the role financial planners will play.
Attendees will not only learn what Life Planning is, but will gain a better understanding of how inner listening and mindfulness skills build relationships of trust in initial client meetings, the precise techniques to pinpoint clients’ most cherished goals, and how to help clients move from trust to inspired action on their financial plans. Moreover, Kinder will share a visioning strategy that goes beyond the self or even the larger community to consider the entirety of civilization. In sharing this strategy, Kinder hopes to empower leaders to develop the world in which they want to live.
And by "leaders" Kinder means none other than the financial planners at XYPN LIVE, whom he describes as “innovators, risk-takers, and entrepreneurs that uphold the fiduciary standard with their clients and in their lives.”
In addition to his keynote presentation, Kinder will also offer a two-day pre-conference event, Seven Stages of Money Maturity®, and will present two sessions: A Conversation with George Kinder and Fellow Registered Life Planners® and A Conversation on Life Planning Civilization.
To learn how to inspire your clients to action and help them make their financial goals a reality, get your pass for XYPN LIVE 2020.
